LatticeFlow works with Actuate on monitoring

Zurich/New York – The American monitoring specialist Actuate is now working with LatticeFlow. LatticeFlow AI Vision is designed to improve the performance and robustness of Actuate’s artificial intelligence-based detection and monitoring models.

LatticeFlow from Zurich and Actuate have agreed a partnership, according to a press release. Actuate, based in New York, is a provider of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered threat detection software. LatticeFlow supports companies in developing reliable solutions in the field of artificial intelligence. By integrating LatticeFlow AI Vision into the Actuate systems, the collaboration aims to speed up the response times of security forces to threats in public areas. Actuate's AI-powered solution alerts security decision-makers immediately after a threat is detected, with a detection accuracy of over 99 percent. Within five seconds, the security teams receive an alert with the footage of the alarm, the type of threat and other relevant information about the location. With the integration of LatticeFlow AI Vision, Actuate's real-time video analytics solution can more accurately identify actual threats, including weapons and unwanted intruders, resulting in a more reliable detection system, it added. "This partnership demonstrates the positive impact AI can have on society, leading to safer and more secure public spaces," said Tom Ulrich, Head of North America at LatticeFlow. "LatticeFlow AI enables Actuate's AI to improve performance for different scenes while quickly adding new scenes, threat types and customer requirements," Zack Schmidt, Data Science Manager at Actuate, is quoted as saying. LatticeFlow is a spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich(ETH). ce/gba
