Kuori is a Swiss cleantech start-up that develops elastic, biodegradable materials from industrial side streams such as olive pits and walnut shells. These are used in shoe soles and bracelets, among other things, and reduce microplastics.
Driven by the vision of replacing fossil resources, Kuori relies on partnerships with universities such as ETH, EPFL, ZHAW and FHNW as well as companies from the outdoor, sports and automotive industries. The Zurich location offers access to a strong network of research, industry and investors.
