Phoenix Award gets Renaissance Investment Foundation as partner

Zurich – The Swiss umbrella organization for corporate succession (CHDU) is once again presenting the Phoenix Award for long-term entrepreneurship in 2025. The CHDU has been able to gain the Renaissance Investment Foundation as a partner for the implementation and further development of the prize.

(CONNECT) This year, the Swiss umbrella organization for business succession is once again honoring SMEs that have been in existence for at least 100 years. Applications for this year's Phoenix Award for long-term Swiss entrepreneurship can be submitted online until May 31, the CHDU announced in a press release. The prerequisite for participation is that the company was founded in 1925 or was entered in the Swiss commercial register or is celebrating a milestone birthday over the 100th.

A jury will select up to three award winners from the applications received in a multi-stage process. Particular emphasis is placed on the company's ability to innovate and disrupt, its team performance and its contribution to society and the economy. The award ceremony will take place in the fall.

The Renaissance Investment Foundation will now support the CHDU as a partner organization in the implementation of this year's competition and the further development of the Phoenix Award. "Traditional companies play a very important role for Renaissance and the Swiss economy," Andreas Camenzind, Investment Director at Renaissance, is quoted as saying in the press release. According to him, the investment foundation currently has holdings in three companies that are more than 100 years old. "We therefore identify with the Phoenix Award for long-term Swiss entrepreneurship in a natural way." ce/hs
