Zurich/Basel – The Deep Tech Nation Switzerland Foundation (DTN) and the Startupticker Foundation have jointly launched an information platform. Private or institutional investors can use it to find out about start-ups and investment opportunities.

(CONNECT) The Zurich-based Deep Tech Nation Switzerland Foundation (DTN) and the Basel-based Startupticker Foundation have launched a joint information platform for investors. According to a press release, both private venture capitalists and institutional investors can find out about start-ups and their business models on the deeptechnation.ch platform.

According to its initiators, the platform is intended as a central point of contact where interested parties can find out about Switzerland's decentralized DeepTech ecosystem. To this end, both foundations want to pool their expertise and resources.

"The information platform reflects our commitment to increasing available growth capital," Joanne Sieber, CEO of DTN, is quoted as saying in the press release. "By efficiently pooling information about the Swiss deep tech ecosystem, we deliver a compelling message about the significant financial opportunities that investors can find in Swiss innovation."

Stefan Kyora, editor-in-chief of startupticker.ch, sees the initiative as an opportunity to provide investors with clarity and the necessary information on the start-up scene.

In addition to the two initiators, the platform is supported by Gebert Rüf Stiftung, Basel Area Business & Innovation, IMD, Innosuisse, SICTIC, Swiss Startup Association, Swisscom Ventures, Startfeld and UBS. ce/ww
