Winterthur – RWAI has raised 1.5 million Swiss francs in a financing round. The funds will be used to expand its TicketPilot platform, which uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to help companies with customer support and software maintenance.
(CONNECT) RWAI has received 1.5 million Swiss francs from business angels. According to a statement from the Winterthur-based start-up, the growth capital is intended to fuel the growth of its TicketPilot platform and enable market expansion with an enlarged team.
Founded a year ago, the start-up is a spin-off from the Center for Artificial Intelligence at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). Its name RWAI stands for Real World Artificial Intelligence and is intended to signal that the young company offers solutions for the world of work "that offer measurable added value" with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning.
The flagship product TicketPilot, for example, is intended to "change the way software companies manage service, support and maintenance". Whenever software is used, the ZHAW explains in a brief portrait of the company, users have questions, consult documentation, suggest improvements, discover errors and need support. "These processes involve considerable effort for software companies. TicketPilot simplifies, accelerates and relieves these processes."
The platform's AI agents automatically classify tickets, find similar incidents, generate answers, solution suggestions, result predictions and sentiment analysis to measure customer satisfaction and anonymize data. "With TicketPilot, companies can benefit from the advantages of artificial intelligence and machine learning without having to build up in-depth expert knowledge themselves," says RWAI co-founder Simon Spalinger from the ZHAW. ce/mm
