B-rayZ and Affidea Group Enter Into Strategic Cooperation

(CONNECT) Affidea Group, a Dutch provider of specialized healthcare services with a Swiss subsidiary in Fribourg, has selected Schlieren-based b-rayZ as its preferred artificial intelligence (AI) partner for breast imaging. With b-rayZ's AI-powered breast imaging solutions, Affidea aims to improve its treatment outcomes and early detection of breast cancer. According to the press release, the partnership is a strategic step towards realizing precision medicine.

b-rayZ's AI-powered platform was developed to ensure a seamless and faster diagnostic pathway in breast cancer diagnostics. This should improve clinical precision and treatment options for women. The b-rayZ technology is already in use at Affidea Switzerland in the Affidea Competence Center for Breast Cancer at the Breast Center Zurich and at Affidea Givision - Site Hôpital Daler. It was also implemented at Affidea Lithuania and Affidea Spain. The company is also planning to expand into other European countries in which it is active.

Affidea has also joined b-rayZ as a strategic investor in the Series A financing round. In addition to the strategic partnership, the investment reinforces b-rayZ's growth ambitions and should enable the company's further development.
