Europcar Switzerland adds Microlino to its program

(CONNECT) Europcar Schweiz AG is adding the Microlino to its fleet. As a first step, the electric city runabout from Microlino AG in Küsnacht is to be made available in the urban centers of Zurich and Bern, the AMAG subsidiary announced in a press release. "We are very pleased about this addition to our fleet - and that we are the first car rental company to offer this service," said Hendrik Lütjens, Managing Director of Europcar Switzerland.

Interested parties can hire a Microlino for a daily rate of CHF 39.90 at the city center stations in Zurich and Bern. The price includes electricity and unlimited mileage. "With the Microlino, we are creating a new, attractive and sustainable mobility solution for our customers in cities," says Lütjens.

Europcar Switzerland also offers owners of a Microlino a discount on worldwide car rentals with Europcar. According to Diego Pugliese, Country Manager Microlino Switzerland, this discount for covering mobility needs outside of everyday life creates "a real win-win situation" for the company's own customers. ce/hs
