Venturelab brings ten fintech start-ups to London

Schlieren ZH – Ten fintech start-ups will be presenting their ideas to investors at the Venture Leaders Roadshow in London. The start-ups are researching the transformation of options trading, asset management, AI risk management and innovations in insurance.

(CONNECT) A jury of investors and fintech experts has selected ten fintech start-ups from more than 50 applications to take part in the Venturelab organised Venture Leaders Roadshow in London. The young companies can present their ideas to investors and benefit from workshops with industry leaders.

Geneva-based Allasso SA innovates options trading with real-time insights, backtesting and detailed data. Zurich-based Selma Finance is simplifying wealth management in Switzerland with its personalised investment and retirement provision supported by artificial intelligence (AI).

The Vaud-based start-ups Insurteam (Lausanne), Poncho Insurance (Morges) and Calingo Insurance from Niederweningen ZH are getting involved in the insurance industry. Calingo Insurance offers digital, integrated pet insurance, while Poncho Insurance offers integrated weather insurance via API, with which travel providers automatically compensate customers in the event of bad weather. The insurance team uses AI to speed up recurring tasks for insurance claims.

MachinaLabs from Basel and Calvin Risk from Kloten ZH also use AI to simplify things: MachinaLabs uses AI to automate complex workflows in compliance, financial analysis and regulatory intelligence, while Calvin Risk offers modular AI risk management software. The TransferChain from Baar ZG and Recoveris from Zug are researching blockchain solutions. While TransferChain enables zero-knowledge file and password management with blockchain-based access control, Recoveris tracks down digital assets using blockchain tools and AI analysis. The Zurich-based rezonanz, on the other hand, uses NLP (Natural Language Processing) and machine learning to transform proxy voting and engagement data into actionable insights to help investors make sustainability decisions. ce/yes
