Collateral Good Manages Sustainable Fund of 100 Million Euros

Zurich – Collateral Good now manages a sustainable food fund worth 100 million euros. The fund, which previously operated under the name Blue Horizon Ventures I, will now operate under the name Collateral Good Food Innovation I.

(CONNECT) The Zurich-based investment group Collateral Good has taken over the management of the fund previously managed under the name Blue Horizon Ventures I. According to a press release, the EUR 100 million sustainable food industry fund will operate under the new name Collateral Good Food Innovation I.

A corresponding contract was awarded by Deloitte Luxembourg, which was approved by 85 percent of the investors involved. The fund focuses on the development and quality improvement of 14 companies in the sustainable food industry. These include Every in Daly City, California, Mosa Meat in Maastricht, the Netherlands, and Planted in Kemptthal, Zurich.

Collateral Good Food Innovation I is managed by company co-founders Mariana Gonzalez and Michael Kleindl. The team of supporters includes Maxence de Royer (Nestlé) , Constantino Matouk (Bimbo Corporation) and Frank Alexander Kühne (Adalbert Raps Foundation).

Collateral Good was founded in 2021. The company currently manages three venture capital funds with total assets of 140 million euros. ce/ww
