Zurich Finance Forum

The Finance Forum Zurich will take place for the fourth time on September 22, 2026, at the Kongresshaus Zurich. The Swiss financial sector’s premier gathering is once again bringing together several hundred decision-makers to discuss current opportunities and challenges facing the financial center. The Finance Forum Zurich offers a variety of interesting presentations and panel discussions, as well as informative workshops and great networking opportunities. Following the opening remarks by Carmen Walker Späh, Zurich’s Director of Economic Affairs, former European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker will speak about Europe amid crises and opportunities. During a panel discussion, high-ranking financial industry representatives will discuss the evolving landscape of banking—specifically, how new technologies, changing customer expectations, and the entry of digital providers into the market are transforming the industry. In a keynote address, Finnova CEO Hendrik Lang will discuss the digital transformation of banks, and ti&m CEO Thomas Wüst will highlight the opportunities presented by AI in the financial industry. In a fireside chat, UBS Group CEO Sergio P. Ermotti discusses how Switzerland’s financial center can be strengthened through competitiveness and innovation. In closing, Finance Minister and Federal Councilor Karin Keller-Sutter explains why regulation can be a competitive advantage for Switzerland as a financial center. The event will once again be hosted by presenter and business journalist Andreas Lüscher. To wrap up the event, a buffet-style reception will provide an opportunity for networking.
