AI Startup Center Presents Book on Artificial Intelligence

(CONNECT) The AI Startup Center at Technopark Zurich has added a book launch to its program for September 25. The book to be presented is entitled "Wie Künstliche Intelligenz die Wirtschaft verändert". The publishers are the head of the AI Startup Center, Christian Hugo Hoffmann, and its first tenant, Sebastian Hersberger, CEO of Yuon Control AG, headquartered in Oberburg. The book will be published by Springer Nature on August 26.

In it, Hoffmann and Hersberger bring together contributions from renowned experts on the history of artificial intelligence, its current and future capabilities and limitations, as well as its ethical implications. As the announcement goes on to say, it is "a book by practitioners for practitioners", in which experienced professionals write "with a balanced perspective" about successes, fears and concerns. "We dedicate ourselves to application potential and examples with a focus on relevance and broad feasibility along the value chain and emerging ecosystems," say the two editors.

Christian Hugo Hoffmann will give an opening speech at the book launch. This will be followed by a panel discussion about the book with Claudia Keller from Wenger Vieli AG, Daniel Naeff, Head of Entrepreneurship at the AI Center at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Marcus Schwemmle, Head of AI at Mobiliar, and Florian Schütz, Managing Director of the AI Park Association. Sebastian Hersberger will give closing remarks before an aperitif riche is served. ce/mm
