ANYbotics wins S-GE Export Award 2025

Zurich – ANYbotics has received the Export Award 2025 from Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) for its internationalisation strategy. In just three years, the company has built up a global partner network for its four-legged inspection robot and opened a site in San Francisco in 2024.

(CONNECT) ANYbotics is this year's winner of the Export Award from S-GE, the official Swiss foreign trade promoter. The prize was awarded on April 30 as part of the Foreign Trade Forum in Basel. With this award, S-GE recognises successful, internationally active companies that impress with their expansion strategy and innovative market development. ANYbotics came out on top against the cosmetics company Cellcosmet from Châtel-Saint-Denis FR and the telecommunications company GMS from Baar ZG.

In a presentation video by S-GE for ANYbotics, jury president Ralph Siegl explains the decision: "ANYbotics AG pursues a consistent growth strategy with clear decision-making criteria. It has the courage to say no when an opportunity does not fit. Its international expansion consistently follows its strengths. The jury was very impressed by this clarity and straightforwardness."

The developer and manufacturer of the four-legged inspection robot ANYmal for industrial applications has established itself as one of the world's leading suppliers within just a few years, according to a press release from S-GE. The spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH), founded in 2016, focuses consistently on the energy, mining, chemicals and oil and gas industries. Accordingly, ANYbotics has focused on global markets from the outset. S-GE's global network served as "an ideal starting point for market development".

"When opening up new markets, we are guided by our four vertical target markets as well as the presence and needs of our multinational key customers," CCO Enzo Wälchli is quoted as saying. To this end, the company has built up a global partner network in just three years. It also opened a site in San Francisco in 2024 to gain access to the largest robot market in the world, the USA. ce/mm
