Emost reports sales success of its mobile battery storage system

Dietikon ZH – emost AG has launched a new product with the Butler M energy storage system. Since the launch of the Butler S 2022 model, 110 of the mobile energy storage units have already been sold in over ten countries.

According to an article on startupticker.ch, emost AG in Dietikon has already sold 110 units across Europe in more than ten countries since launching the Butler S mobile energy storage unit in 2022. The first units of the new, more powerful version, the Butler M, have also already found buyers.

"Wherever possible, we rely on sales partners who can also take over the service," emost CEO Benedikt Domke is quoted as saying. Such agreements already exist with the Swiss construction and agricultural machinery dealer Robert Aebi and in Germany with construction machinery dealer Swecon and film set and event equipment supplier JOLA-Rent.

Domke expects sales to increase. "The market is moving forward and we are already seeing growing interest from diesel generator manufacturers, rental companies and large construction companies who would like to work with us." The environmentally friendly power generator without CO2 emissions with outputs between 50 and 150 kVA (kilovolt amperes) has been developed as a replacement for conventional diesel generators on construction sites.

The technology called emost (electric mobile storage) can also be used at events or in emergencies. The mobile device, which does not require any special authorization for use, was developed by emost together with a team from the energy supplier Axpo in Baden AG. emost AG was created from the Baden-based energy supplier Axpo. The technology was sold in 2022 to a consortium of management and entrepreneurs who founded emost AG. ce/gba
