(CONNECT) "Design your company. Take off with your company" is the title of the IFJ Institute's Startup Guide for young companies. According to an announcement, the focus is on the twelve do's - or commandments for action. "In our Startup Guide, we provide you with the 12 key success factors that will prepare you optimally for founding and launching your company," says the 32-page Startup Guide, which can be downloaded from the IFJ website.

These twelve do's are based on the findings of experienced experts and provide the necessary knowledge and tools to turn the dream of your own company into reality. The twelve focal points are: Vision, company foundation, team, focus, customer management, marketing, sales, network, finance, crisis management, innovation and further development. There is detailed information on each individual point of these recommendations for action.

The "3 most common mistakes" made when setting up a company are also highlighted. According to the IFJ, these are: "Accept everything: Threat of overload and inefficiency." Regarding the mistake of ignoring market needs, it says: "Focus on solutions with broad market potential." The third mistake is: "Not setting priorities: Time and money are lost on the wrong projects."
