MOVE Mobility Realizes 21 New Charging Points in Zurich

(CONNECT) 21 new charging stations for electric cars are available in the center of Zurich: MOVE Mobility has realized 21 additional charging points in the City Parking Zurich, from planning to commissioning. Four AC charging stations with a capacity of 22 kilowatts were already located on the fourth basement level of the parking garage. Its operator had already announced plans to continuously increase the number of charging points. Accordingly, additional charging stations are to be installed in the coming years in order to meet the growing demand.

The technology for the 21 new charging points comes from the Norwegian company Zaptec, which has its Swiss headquarters in Au and operates in Technopark Zurich. As Zaptec writes in a press release, this is a "forward-looking project for smart, efficient electromobility in the heart of the city".

MOVE Mobility SA specializes in complete solutions for electromobility, including charging infrastructure and intelligent billing systems. Founded in 2017, the company is based in Granges-Paccot and has a branch in Zurich.

MOVE Mobility has been part of the e-mobility group of Zurich-based energy supplier Energie 360° since July 1, 2025. MOVE Mobility thus joins the largest Swiss charging network, which also includes Swisscharge and GOFAST. As the company announced, it will remain independent. ce/mm
