Zurich – Muuvr has received CHF 4 million in pre-Series A financing. A quarter of the funds raised came from new investors. The Zurich-based start-up has developed an app that motivates people to exercise more and lead a healthy lifestyle.
(CONNECT) Muuvr Labs AG has raised a total of CHF 4 million from existing and new investors in a pre-Series A financing. Specifically, eight new investors were acquired, who contributed 25 percent of the total volume, the Zurich-based start-up informs in a post on LinkedIn. According to him, Muuvr is about to launch version 2.0 of its app of the same name, which is designed to encourage people to exercise more and lead a healthy lifestyle.
"Closing the financing round with this result so shortly before the launch of MUUVR 2.0 is of course the biggest motivation boost and gives us exactly the tailwind we need for the launch of the new app," Muuvr CPO Björn Vogler is quoted as saying in the short presentation on the financing round published in the article. Founder Michael Hartweg emphasizes the support from the company's existing investors. "This trust is now an incentive and motivation for us to convince many people in the DACH region of MUUVR in the coming months," says Hartweg. ce/hs
