NewGreenTec launches third financing round

Kloten ZH – NewGreenTec intends to accelerate its dynamic growth in Switzerland and Europe with a third and final round of financing. The company already has around 60 of its hybrid wind-solar small power plants in operation and feels ready to enter the scaling phase.

(CONNECT) NewGreenTec International AG opens its third and final financing round. As the company, which is now based in Kloten, announces, it intends to use the capital increase to expand its circle of around one hundred shareholders in order to accelerate its dynamic growth in Switzerland and Europe in a targeted manner.

Founded in 2015, the company builds and sells hybrid wind-solar small power plants and small wind turbines up to 30 meters high for decentralized, local and ecological power supply, which can be installed next to or on top of buildings. The hybrid device combines a wind turbine, solar modules, controller, inverter and optionally a storage unit in one device. A simple mounting solution allows these systems to be installed with little effort on flat and gable roofs as well as on apartment buildings and agricultural or public buildings.

The wind turbine blades rotate around the horizontal and vertical axis depending on the customer's requirements and location. This means that they are independent of the wind direction and can also be positioned at low heights. The hybrid system produces electricity at any time of day or night, regardless of the weather. This can either be used directly or fed into the grid. The PowerPyramid and EnergyTower products are reportedly suitable for SMEs, agriculture, trade, industry, infrastructure buildings, energy self-sufficient buildings and municipalities.

"With our innovative systems, proven wind turbines and advanced control systems, we have gained a lot of experience that we are happy to pass on to our customers," says founder and CEO Frido Stutz. His company now has around 60 turbines in operation and has extensive experience and a strong market position. It is therefore ready to enter the scaling phase. ce/mm
