Octotronic and Visense merge to form Octotronic AG

The two Zurich start-ups Octotronic and Visense are now operating under one roof, Octotronic AG. The new company will be managed by members of both companies. In a final announcement under this company name, the experts in video analysis using artificial intelligence (AI) and low-code technology from Visense announced that they are joining forces with the smart factory integrators from Octotronic. The newly created company is based at Technopark Zurich.

As stated in the announcement also published by Octotronic, Octotronic AG defines itself as a smart factory architect with a mission to create a unified data architecture and analytics tools that address "the most difficult challenges facing the manufacturing industry" - scaling digital transformation and bridging OT and IT. IT/OT convergence aims to integrate physical operational technology (OT) assets and devices into the digital IT landscape.

Because Octotronic was not satisfied with its existing products, the company "joined forces with Visense to create OctoCore ", according to the joint statement. The proprietary data platform breaks down data silos and offers complete data transparency.
With the modules and the low-code environment, everything from simple dashboards to advanced AI use cases can be easily created.
Octotronic AG also offers smart factory consulting and integration services.
