Küsnacht ZH – The start-up Scalera has secured 6.5 million dollars in a financing round. The specialist for software supported by artificial intelligence for construction tenders intends to use the fresh capital to develop its platform and expand into Germany and Austria.
(CONNECT) The Küsnacht-based start-up RA Scale AG (Scalera) has secured fresh capital of 6.5 million dollars in a seed financing round. According to an announcement on Linkedin, the financing round was led by firstminute capital and Speedinvest. A group of angel investors was also involved.
Scalera, a spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH), develops software for construction tenders. The company offers SaaS solutions (Software as a Service) supported by artificial intelligence, which are designed to reduce the bureaucratic effort involved in tendering procedures for building applications. Construction companies can reduce their time and costs after applying these modules. The entire process along the construction supply chain should become more transparent with the program.
Scalera intends to use the fresh capital to optimize its platform and drive forward its expansion into Germany and Austria. ce/ww
